Though, I've typically been in the minority in feeling that, say, I still wanted to push H LK while we were wiping at three f***ing percent.
I feel the same. None of the people I'm with have any kind of dedication. They seem to get all the more discouraged the closer we get...
We made 15-20 heroic attempts each on Spirit Kings, Blade Lord, and Wind Lord last week because people kept begging us to give up and try something else. This week we just did a full normal clear because my cotank is off visiting his girlfriend or something, and nobody felt like even trying without our second main tank (even though two of the bosses are 1-tank fights and the other is completely trivial for tanks on heroic). --- One day dude, I'm just gonna get off the bus, and I'm gonna run in the woods and never come back, and when I come back I'm gonna be the knife master! -The Rev

i was going to write a book but the subs explain it all, down 1mil since MoP was released. Expansion is not as good as you think it is --- http://i.imgur.com/2EJdw.gif Rogue PvP in a nutshell.
You do realize I have my own issues with the expansion not to mention that I am currently unsubbed right?
Also and I don't give a crap what they said but there are alot of subs lost in the Middle East area alone because they shut those accounts down. Believe it or not, you are talking about at least 100k-200k players there.
That wasn't what I am asking. What keeps YOU, a 17k+ achievement hunter, playing and enjoying it? --- 'I am always surprised at how you, a Czech, have better grammar, spelling, and style than many native born speakers in the U.S.' -Ruvan22

Well according to the latest blue post on the valor not being reset in 5.2, it seems we earned ourselves one more week of raiding. This actually gives my guild just enough time to push for Cutting Edge Shek'zeer. :D --- http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/black-dragonflight/Arpandaday/advanced http://i.imgur.com/lPu0J.gif

Still not as bad as Ulduar.
Giant, fantastic tier replaced after only eleven weeks with one of the worst, laziest designed raids ever.
Hopefully the 5.2 raid is at least good. --- Elhaym van Houten

The problem with Blizzard's content updates is that they almost invariably render the previous raiding tier obsolete. That's it. That's the extent of the problem. Blizzard has not been able to find the sweet spot between giving people too much time to handle content and too little time to handle content. This wouldn't be such a problem if Blizzard would stop releasing a new raiding tier only to render the previous tier obsolete.
What Blizzard needs to do is go back to the system it used in BC. Launch tier n, but don't render tier n-1 obsolete. Render tier n-2 obsolete. Zul'Aman and Magister's Terrace made Kara/Gruul/Mag all but pointless, but you still needed to grind SSC/TK/BT to get the gear to handle Sunwell.
