If at all? I found myself getting bored so I got a doughnut and glass of milk. Right now I'm fighting a boss. LFR is fun.

I follow the mechanics that I need to, but I tend to slack off on a few bosses. If it's just mainly a tank and spank (Sha of Fear, Empress, etc), I'll often tab out and switch background songs or use that time to respond to a text or something.

Every time I decide to slack off(afk, snack break, etc etc) the raid tends to go downhill.

I'm so good I actually single affect 25 mans.

I think a more reasonable reason is that they see you slacking, think your'e cool, and think "maybe if I slack, I can be that cool too"
If you believe in Jesus Christ , have accepted him as your lord and savior, and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig

It varies, really. If the group is decent enough I'll sometimes slack off and just not pay attention (Its not as fun as normal 10mna for me)

if I'm on my main tho and I wanna test my DPS, then i'll usually take it fully seriously and go all out.

When I'm dpsing, I dps super hard on bosses to make it go as fast as possible cuz i got things to do. When I healing, I usually just try to heal during high dmg phases.

Tanking....doesn't matter, taunt when you need to
