Factor in all sources

i.e.

Buying base game
Buying expansions
Paying monthly subscription fees
Paying for additional services (race change, name change etc.)
Buying items from the shop (mounts, pets)
Buying gold from 3rd party websites (if applicable)
Buying computer hardware/software explicitly because of WoW (i.e. I ONLY bought a Razer Naga for WoW, otherwise I wouldn't have ever bought one)

Seven years of subscriptions, plus the expansions, leads to a total expenditure of a little over $1300 over seven years.

Not really too bad, considering I probably also spend half of that a year on single player titles.

Considering I just spent $1,200 on a new pc to, among other things, play wow, I'd say I've spent probably over $2,000 on wow with the monthly fees and expansions and upgrades to previous computers.

Base game + all expansions at "new" price: $200
5 realm transfers: $125
Six years' subscription at $13/month: $936

Yeah, that's well over $1000.

I was thinking only ten for some reason, not 14...

Yeah, it's probably closer to around 8-10 new games a year I purchase, sometimes fewer, sometimes more. And this is over the course of the entire year, so I rarely am sitting on that many at any give ntime. And of course there's always the epic back log of destiny I still need to clear out thanks to stupid steam sales.

That's not bad, I bought two Titans to play WoW.

So that's $2,000 this month alone

Lets see:
Classic WoW: $50(or 60, don't recall)
BC: $40
Wrath: $40
Cata: $40
MoP: $40
Some 6ish or so years Game time: at $180/year: $900 Subtract $270 for various breaks and free months (SoR/RaF)
10 Server Transfers: $25/ea: $250

New Total after doing math: $1360
