Favorite Zone of all time in WoW?

Feralas, post-Cataclysm.

It felt kind of weird with Stranglethorn music and horrible questing before, but now it's got its own theme and is damn gorgeous and pleasant to quest through.

I've always been a big fan of forested and/or wintery zones (maybe living in the Northeast has done that to me :P). So places like GH, Winterspring, Feralas, Azshara pre-Goblins, The Hinterlands, etc are zones I always make it a point to level in.

Un'goro Crater, both pre- and post-Cataclysm. Pre-Cata I liked it because of dinosaurs, Nintendo references and the fact that there were lootable objects all over the zone; post-Cata I like how you finally solve the mystery of why it's there, and the questline with the Don Quixote- type is hilarious.

Why is it there?

I thought it was in Wrath we found out why it was there. Part of the Titan's experiements related to Sholazar Basin.

Also, I liked it pre-Cata with all the Nintendo references. Post-Cata is meh. I tend to skip it, now, whereas I always made sure to level there before the changes.

As for a favorite, it's hard to pick. Tirisfal pre and post. Pre for nostalgia since that's where I took my first character, Blood Elf Warlock, when I was done with Ghostlands. Post because of the amazingly great quests involving Sylvanas.

Hillsbrad pre, too. Nostalgia. Killing humans and draining souls, storing their crystals ... Fun times. Winterspring is just beautiful, the music I remember really liking, too. Minus the goblin music in their hub up there. A lot of zones are really fun. Even 1K Needles, which I feel often goes overlooked.

I think Nagrand will always be my favorite zone of all time. Uldum comes in at a close second since I've always been into ancient egyptian culture.
