idk

i use it but i dont let it run in the background, I only fire it up to update addons when a new patch comes out and my PC is fine thus far(although i'd imagine any virus/malware would show up through a Flash exploit, so if you keep it up to date you should be fine).

The Curse client was very reliable when I used it when I played. Go for it, IMO.
And as far as Curse being virus-ridden, it *was*, but not anymore. Been years.
