As an arms warrior in pvp, is it just me or do I hit harder with...

the 502 lfr 2h than I do with the 470 pvp wep? I'd expect this with a 522 wep but is a does 32 item levels really > 5k pvp power in pvp for an arms warrior?

For casters weaps it's 522PvE > 470PvP > 502PvE

I'd suspect it'd be similar for melee

Arms warriors are by far the most wep dps dependent spec in the game I think.

Probably since all their abilities do x% weapon damage(except dragon roar and shockwave).

502 and up PVE weps will be better until you get the 498 pvp wep.

32 ilvls is a reasonable jump, it wasn't that long ago that 7/10/13ilvls were pretty big jumps (although there wasn't any PvP power then). Just looking at them, another 3k+ average weapon damage and a couple hundred more strength v a chunk of PvP power. Considering that warriors usually are very weapon dependant, I wouldn't say it's a big surprise.

I'm pretty sure almost all war attacks go off the base weapon damage or a % of it. But I'm kinda surprised you would be hitting harder because the pvp weapon has like 5k+ pvp power which acounts to about 20% + pvp power.
