Possible to get 490 through just LFR/Dailies?

I'm having a very difficult time trying to find a guild to raid with at the moment. I'm taking mostly all night classes this semester which is making finding a guild rather difficult.

I mainly want 490 because that's the ilvl I've seen recommended the most for completing the green fire warlock quest.

Yeah, the LFR gives 502 gear, so given time it's easy to get that high.

^ 468 ilvl. He shows it at the end. Also, if you want to watch his technique of actually doing the fight, it starts at 12:00 minutes or so. Before that is him showing some of the questline to get to the fight.

Did you mean 484? I find it hard to believe someone did it in Cata End Time blues.

edit: hit the wrong number keys first time.

Gear just makes it easier because it goes by faster. As long as you can do all the mechanics, it should be doable in any MoP gear as any spec.

384? You mean lvl 85 LFR-DS gear?
That'd be really interresting to see...

Isn't there an enrage timer or something? One of the locks I was talking to about it said he failed a few times due to enrage timer, made some macros, then beat it by 15%

Yeah, there's an enrage timer. I did it on my lock with 482 gear. I was ~50 seconds ahead of the enrage (and I delayed it a LOT using the demonic gateway trick).

You can definitely do it with less than 490.

You can cheese the enrage timer by bringing a Purification Pot, it will clear the curse and he will recurse you, giving you another 7 mins, if you got the mechanics down this should be plenty of time for just about any MoP gearlevel.

Anyone who plays monster hunter obviously does this quest chain naked with only a weapon equipped.
