A)a clusterf*** of colors going on. colorblind people have stated numerous times that even with the CB filters on, this fight is just insane for them. the filters don't much help here.
B)this fight is EXTREMELY dependent on communication and group tactics, in LFR, this fight will NEVER be anything but frustration.
C)this fight is just poorly designed. it was a good experiment but i have a strong feeling they won't use colors like that or mechanics like that for a long time.
D)lei shen is a much harder fight, but is not as prone to wipes due to the poor design. if you wipe on lei shen it means something different than if you wiped on durumu.

as a colorblind individual, i cannot do this fight without a marked person leading me through the maze. i can at least do the beam part because while im colorblind to red, im not to the others as much so i can see the other ones and process of elimination=if it ain't the others, i got red. so on.

Yeah, lowering the height doesn't help with all the graphics appearing to be the same color as the floor... even with the shaders... -.-

Just so you guys know, the beams look orange, green, and white to me... I can't tell which one is which based on color... -.-

the maze part, i cannot see, period. never will either because of the color. it's all color. the maze cloud fog stuff looks the same as the floor to me, i can't even SEE the maze, even when im following someone, so i have to be right up on their ass to not die.

frankly if they changed the color of the fog to a lighter color, or changed the color of the floor so color blind people could see the floor where there is an absence of fog, then it'd be great.

I'm not colorblind, but I STILL die to the maze. It's just a mass of purple. Even read up on how to spot the safe zone, didn't work.
Survived once when I followed someone marked with circle, but that won't work all the time.

this is just it. the fog is fairly transparent, so its really difficult to see where the safe zone is. it all looks the same to so many people, never-mind the colorblind people.

I'm colorblind and the colors are not a problem. There's a different visual animation to tell them apart. That's how I go with it. The maze was fine, you just need to adjust your camera to be directly above the character. Haven't seen it since the nerf.

I will agree it's a pretty dumb fight in general. I particularly hate how nearly every fight so far in MOP artificially adds a second tank through nothing other than a stacking debuff. There's nothing interesting or exciting about that. Al'ar, Four Horsemen, Kael'thas, Kel'thuzad, Vaelestrasz, etc. were all fights that Blizzard needs to remember when designing for tanks. No more Ebonroc, Blizzard!

Agreed the camera above your guy looking straight down gta1 style is something hardly anyone realizes either.
