This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

I'd love to see more "epic quests" like the Warlock's Green Fire one.

I'd also like to see epic profession quests. Quests where you do things related to the profession, and in the end, get some special recipe as a reward.

Priests, hunters warlocks and paladins in vanilla. I don't count the rogue legendary in Cata anymore than I'd count the other legendaries

So, you only count the end reward and not the whole "specialized dungeon run and long quest chain that can only be accomplished by a single class"?

And Blizzard said that the effort it would have taken for them to do a quest like that for all classes would be the equivalent of a whole area in MoP and that they'd rather do something everyone can enjoy evenly (an area) rather than things people can only enjoy alone, if they enjoy it (class quest/dungeon).

Although the idea of splitting them up sounds cool, I'd rather have them all at the same time.

Requires raiding to finish. If we're going to go that far I'd include dragonwrath, frostmourne and atiesh

Man.

I want the Hunter quest back. That's a class where you have a a huge amount of people who get by just tunnel-vision DPSing because of how easy they are to play, and something that makes Hunters use their toolkit and challenges good Hunters would be awesome.

...Of course, that last sentence applies to any class, but I feel like Hunters (given their stigma) need something to easily separate the greats from the rest.

Problem is they'd never use that toolkit again ever with the way instances are designed now.

You can never stop being more effective, even when it isn't completely necessary. Plus, once you learn how to play (particularly a Hunter) well, it doesn't turn off too easily. Playing better is generally more fun.

That all aside, do you not raid? Or just LFR?

I did a vote and pole on this earlier in the month or last. Im all over having multiple class specific quests and chains for unique items, glyphs, spells changes, etc etc. Just adds to the variety

I'm semi retired these days, but I get into heroic modes every now and then. I haven't seen a raid or dungeon that required finesse as a hunter since TBC, with a brief window of resurgence at the very beginning of Cata. These days about the only time it'd be truly useful would be challenge mode speed runs and possibly the new heroic scenarios.

The days of chain trapping while speed pulling through SH and MgT are sadly long since gone.

I think you're seeing the line of "skilled versus unskilled" that I'm talking about as a little higher than I am, but even so, every class can make a difference in various situations if they have a good enough player behind them. It may not be huge, but it's there. Obviously it isn't required, but it can help.
