I miss it, but I guess the system is better now.

Oh and by the way, ArP was replaced with Crit, not hit or haste.
(At least, my gems were >.>)

Armor Pen only sucked because you had to recalculate constantly, due to the way it and AP messed each other up. We could REALLY go for getting rid of Expertise though, or redoing the system. Being a tank and having to gem for your parry cap can eat my ass.

why are people against expertise? it removes RNG. Might as well remove hit too.

I really wonder why they removed armor penetration in the first place.
If they wanted to remove a stat couldn't they just remove hit and expertise, which were mandatory and could have been removed without limiting the players' choiches?

What I meant is that they could have made them baseline.

because it was literally impossible to use ArPen properly without a spreadsheet.

I think the people who want to remove hit/exp want the entire concept removed(I.E. 0% chance of missing and 0% chance of NPCs dodging/parrying attacks) not just the stat

though that could have PvP implications for tanks, wouldnt it? If no one could reduce the chance of them to parry/dodge. Maybe not though, I dont PvP much.

Not at all. I am all for removing all useless stats ingame.

Just make hit 15% for all classes and be done with expertise as well. Make melee hit reduces parry as well.

It won't even surprise me if some mitigation stats were removed/shifted around.
