Side from the crater nearly every post classic zone is better because they just put much more detail into environments.

The blood elf starter zone, ghost lands and the old barrens. Oh how I loved the old barrens :,) --- I hate college but love all the parties Finishing kegs and crushing bottles of Bacardi

Winterspring (I think that's what it's called... the one in the NE corner of Kalimdor with Frostsaber Rock) --- "...a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock."

Silithus looks so cool. It's big and boring and grey and depressing, full of Zerg and worms and stuff. --- http://creativegametheory.com/ Tower Defense Game, Betaa!

Storm Peaks for the atmosphere, Eastern Plaguelands for the quests.
--- I see dead people.

Icecrown. I love snow and I love zombies. Also, it was WoW's first serious attempt at phasing, and the entire quest chain for the beginning of that zone blew my mind. --- As a blood elf male, his weak point is his ovaries. Punch him there. -befo72

Durotar and Old Loch Modan purely for nostalgia purposes.
Other areas that I really like: Silithus, Winterspring, Grizzly Hills, Hinterlands, and Zangarmarsh for the aesthetics. --- PSN: TeholBeddict

I have to say, running across the plains of Mulgore as a cat (Druid), while it's raining in-game with that music playing is an awesome experience. --- "I dont want it to be FUN..... FUN often times ruins games" - IgnatiusLoyola (On RE4 - Gamefaqs)
