Which redone zone is better: Western Plaguelands or Dustwallow

#1Roxas_OblivionPosted 9/15/2013 11:14:33 AM
Haven't leveled up a character in any of the redone areas yet and I hear both of these areas were pretty well done in their revision, both with some interesting stories and whatnot.

Also, which has better mining? That's my primary source of income, since I'm on a fresh server.

Western Plaguelands, because it was actually redone.

The Dustwallow redo was pretty neat, at least for Alliance. The Horde changes were less significant. However, the changes were still done in BC and not Cata like the rest so they are a little dated now again.

EPL is way better than WPL. Go there when you hit 40.

I love the new EPL. That whole Caravan thing is so much fun. I stay in that zone until the very end on all of my alts.

I hate both the PL zones post cata. And I level much faster anyway in dustwallow. I loved that zone since my first toon though. That was the zone where I felt "wow, my character is almost 60" when really it was like 25 levels off. It was just the last half of the race in mind.

Dustwallow was revamped during TBC, not Cata like the other zones btw

I don't remember Redd White changing his name to Bandit Keith. Not even in America.-Aceburner

I'd do plaguelands just because it was done more recently. The cata overhaul kinda glossed over dustwallow since it had already been revamped.
