So far for me, Fury Warrior (crit), Ret Paladin and Combat Rogue (Haste) seem heavily reliant on gear in order to be entertaining.

I do not agree. Several classes can have a non-mind-numbingly boring rotation without much gear.

Destruction at the point where you go a full mastery build is at least kind of fun in my opinion as opposed to lower gear levels destro.
My heart just wouldn't be in it, you know? Haven't got one.
