Thinking about getting this game, I have two questions.

How will my 8600gts, 2GB RAM, and E6420 processor do with this game at 1680x1050?

Is this game considered scary or creepy? The reason I ask is because games that I would consider to be scary/creepy I don't usually enjoy (such as Bioshock and Doom 3).

I think you will be able to run the game very well, just make sure to apply the patches upon install. As far as scariness, it is mostly just scary inside the buildings at night. It can get pretty creepy in there, with the noises and dark and mutants and such. Otherwise, it is just fun.

I might give it a try since I am looking for a new game. I wish they had a demo but I don't think they do. Thanks for the response.

Also, does it have any problems with Vista 64-bit?

Don't know - it runs great on my Vista 32 bit.

It works great with Xp 64 bit, so it should work on Vista 64 bit.

I run it on Vista 64 bit with no problems. There are moments in the game that are pretty scary, but if you're not interested in those there is a free-roaming aspect to the game.
