Steal the Tempest from Number 128, Force Armor from Gaurdian (WoR, Common steal), Raganrok and Atma Weapon swords from the third tier of the final battle (both common steals), and *TRY* to steal a Thornlet from Hidon (Rare, with something crappy in the Common slot). Pretty much everything else you can steal you can obtain in infinite quantities throughout the game (although some, such as Ribbon (Rare Steal from AtmaWeapon/WoR Gaurdian), are really hard to get other ways), so really Locke isn't too good for getting unique items. You can Steal stuff so you can sell it for some GP, BTW, but in general Stealing isn't the best move in most fights. --- I...I shall consume. Consume...consume everything.
A good 25% of the total steals while good, are situational. The other 65% or so, are items that you can steal to help you save money. The last 10% are stuff that you can steal early on, that come in handy later.
These steals are:
Tempest from No.128, Megalixir from Earthguard, Elixir from Peeper, Hyper Wrist from Chimera, Atlas Armlet from Hadesgigas, Dragoon Boots from Harvesters, Genji Gloves from Dragons,
TO the person who noted Atma Weapon and Ragnarok...
Those are *NOT* worthwhile Steals. Considering you have to waste time stealing weapons for all of 2 more fights in the game, and you have to have the right characters to use them anyway...yeah. Especially Atma Weapon which just isn't very good to begin with.
Mind, this changes in FF6a, where stealing them has a purpose due to Dragon's Den and all that. --- www.rpgdl.com The site Meeple argues at for too much of his life!
