so I just keep using this item on every mission, and eventually I will get the character?
I have already used it on 1 dispatch mission and 1 normal mission, but no profit.

Takes a while, but you'll get Eldena eventually. Helps if you use those glasses thingers that up your chances of a recruitment.

and if this helps...the last mission I used it on was the boss battle aganist the red crystals (at the volcano)
