Super Novice Secret 5

Hi guys. I did the search feature here on the forums and found only one topic that had any information at all about this, at least that I could find. (My search terms were "Super Novice)

I was wondering if anyone could confirm what Secret 5 is, the no death thing. I read it involved stat increases.

I've never played this game before, and I'm thinking of starting, and I was thinking of grabbing a Novice and getting to Super Novice without dieing to see what happens.

The plan is to basically stick to easy areas where enemies are no threat and grind EXP until I can reach it. I'm just assuming based on other RPGs that this would work. Again thoughI am the new girl on the block so I don't know how many of my assumptions are inaccurate.

Anyways, has anyone confirmed what it is? The official site says no one has ever made it.

How significant is that +10? I've never played the game yet, so I'm in the character decision phase.

For a Super Novice, it's a lot.

Cast time of most spells is dependent on Dex; if your character has 150 Dex, any spell that has a cast time that can be shortened will not have a cast time at all. To put it simply; not even a Wizard or High Wizard can get 150 Dex with just equipment, their own skills, and Blessing alone.

Also, since Super Novices are extremely fragile and don't have any real damage skills outside of spells, +10 Str can make a big difference, +10 Agi means a lot more monsters you can tank via Flee, and so on. Too lazy to go into depth right now.

But if you're playing a Super Novice, usually it's because you enjoy the novelty of it, not because your class is woahmg amazing.

pre-soul linkers it was an impossible feat
after soul linkers, you can reset your death record and get the +10 stats.
SuNos are really squishy anyway so you'll end up losing it quick.
