...to build up affection for and see the scenes? I've gotta say, I think Regal and Lloyd's scenes are pretty good. I love the dynamic between the two of them, like an older brother teaching the little one much, but still learning in return.

I don't really bother because I hate Zelos, so I always pick Kratos in Flanoir.

Collette's is the only one that really makes sense, but I'd have to go with Raine. It really brings out her kinder, friendlier side.

Hmm... Zelos, I suppose. Or Presea, or.... Eh, I can't decide! I love all of them except Colette's path. I like Colette, but I feel like Genis's path actually has better Colette-related backstory and characterization. The Welgaia scenes on the Genis path really helped me get why Lloyd is such a Big Deal to Colette.

I'm a Lloyd/Presea shipper though. ^_^

Other than maybe one scene each on Presea's and Regal's paths, they all seemed to make the same amount of sense to me. (The scene in Welgaia with Fake Alicia feels a little... awkward?... on all paths, but on the Presea or Regal path, it's even weirder.) I think anyone who doesn't see all of them is missing out.

Raine and Regal, in part because they're my two favorites, but more importantly because everyone else largely opens up in in-game events, and all you really do with their Flanoir and Heimdall scenes is go deeper. Those two really don't.
