Do they seriouslty expect us to make a fuel tank just to heal the ridepod?

Everytime it almost gets killed? I freakin almost die fighting those robots in the sewers, how in the world do I heal it? Unless there's another way.

Even though it's early in the game I am pretty sure if you go to Cedric he will repair the ridepod for you. Later in the game some recruiting takes place and I am sure he will then for sure, and I don't see why he wouldn't this early. If not, you may be able to find ridepod fuel in the dungeons since it is a drop that comes from the throwable objects in the dungeon levels. Hold the block button and then hit X when near a rock/vase or whatever the item is in that dungeon and you will pick it up, you can then throw it and sometimes they contain items, one of which is ridepod fuel.

Once you get the more powerful cores fuel won`t run out very quickly, and by then you`ll have plenty of armor and attack power. Steve`s a pretty overpowered addition to the game once he gets going.

Also, though I'm not sure at what point, you can buy fuel in Palm Brinks from Donny's dad, was it?

Well, you don't have access to long range Ridepod weapons at that point so you will get damaged. You can minimize it though by using the block-attack pattern. But once you get past that stage, upgrade the Ridepod.

LoL just time your attacks and don't forget about R1 button, using Ridepod is easier than using Max and Monica in first chapters.

I'm assuming you're in the Underground Channel. If that's the case, you may want to start throwing those crates around (R1, then square). Aside from possibly giving you helpful items at the begining, they also may spawn Fuel Tanks.
