Metal Wii Solid

The Wii has done no such thing.

Not really, the wii did greatly expand the market into new demographics. That ought to count for something.

Snake being in Brawl doesn't mean anything. Kojima is doing anything he can to make Snake as popular as possible, as shown by asking for him to be put in Brawl, releasing the EC before MGS4 and then working with Sony for a MGS4, Dualshock 3 and 80 GB PS3 bundle. It's exactly like Roy being in SSBM; advertisement for an upcoming game.

The Wii made RE4 better, I would expect it would do the same with MGS given the improved weapon aiming efficiency of the Wii and an endless amount of physical ways to inflict pain (physically cutting throats/neck breaking, grappling etc...).

RE4 has simple gameplay that is easy so implement on the Wii

MGS does not have this

Care to elaborate?

Gameplay in RE4 is more one note, not necessarily more simple.

No!!! i cant even imagine the controls.

Konami loves Nintendo. Its definitely possible that they might port it over to the Wii and as for how the controls would work I believe Hideo Kojima and his crew would be able to think of something genius to make it work. I couldn't imagine the game play being the same with the Wii but it would be able to offer a whole new experience to the MG world. Think CQC from MG3 with nunchuck controllers. XD And the Wii is obviously profitable. GameSpot even ran an article about one of Konami's gaming companies focusing on making money off the Wii so as long as Hideo or Konami comes out and just says they won't make a port then it will always remain a possibility.

Yes, yes. Maybe not MGS, but Kojima has proved with his Boktai that he can still make incredible games without MGS tag on it. So, a new Metal Gear series, Boktai spin-off, or entirely new games for Wii is quite a possibility.

That being said, seeing MGS on Wii looks less probable than something more original. But I highly doubt that it's bad news.
