During battle it takes like 15 seconds to change class which makes it not worth doing most of the time. Can i skip it?

There's an option that's let's you set Spherechange animations to short or off completely.

Yes, change your configuration settings to shut it off or shorten it.

Just one thing: the first time you make a switch into a new dressphere you will get the full animation. For example, let's say you want to switch Rikku from (say) thief to warrior in battle; if this is the first time you've done that particular switch you will go through the full dressphere animation and if you want to switch her back during the battle you will get it again. However, now you've done the switch both ways you won't see that particular change again but you will see it if you switch Rikku to something else other than warrior.

AFAIK, you can't avoid the first time animation and it will happen with every first time dressphere switch in both directions. The upside is that you only have to go through each switch once. After that it becomes almost instant.

Also, now you have dressphere changes abbreviated, it's a good time to try out getting a chain of changes. See how long you can go, and how many gates you can pass through, before an enemy can get a move in.

Fully buffed in no time, and right back where you started, if you like. Right helpful in boss fights.

If someone is trying to use Finale, having to change DS 4 times per battle does get on your nerves after awhile.

Because I can send 3 characters round 4 dressphere gates in a very short time if I have dressphere animation off. With wait mode you can actually get all 3 characters through all 4 gates before enemies get an attack in. Try it!

I can't understand why anyone would want dressphere animation on. Just think how long it would take going through all 12 gates and having to watch the animation after every single move! -_-
