MINOR spoiler non story, Chaz ... doesn't gain enough HP.

I can't stand it, how many times he's leveled up so far and he gains "3 HP" "3 HP" and ... another whopping "3 HP" and "4 or 5 HP" ...

Of course I understand it's due to them wanting to balance the game out "This is why I love newer you can customize characters games, you choose what you look like and their strengths like in Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires ... just came off my head there.

Still I must say, overall... the strongest character is Chaz *to me at least*.

Hmm... all characters are fairly well balanced, I'd say.

Chaz is quite strong though. He reminds me of the natural stats of Cloud in FF7. He has great technique, great skills, high attack, but only mediocre armour and magic attack.

Magic Attack have you seen Chaz's NATHU move or MEGID? Magic Attack is amazing to me... not comparing to Rune but ... jeez...

No, he's right. Chaz's Mtl stat is terrible until post-game levels. Megid is only strong because it has the highest power rating. Nathu isn't even that great, except that it happens that so many late game enemies and nearly all bosses are weak against it. For that matter, Rayblade is always better than Nathu.

Chaz's stats aren't great. He has no real "peak" area like the others, he's just all-around mediocre with especially poor TP and Mtl. But stats aren't everything (especially in this relatively easy game); he is saved by his techs, skills and equipment.

I think the most lopsided character is Gryz. His HP and attack power are great, but his Agility and Mental stats are too low to keep up with the others. Worse, he has an utter lack of skills or techniques... that means he has no combos either.

Funnily enough, he beats out Alys quite soon in Mtl. I don't remember about Rika though.

Nathu would be nice if that one series combined with something else like Foi & Wat.
