How DO I Save Progress in the Game

#1Golden_TorizoPosted 3/31/2013 12:10:47 AM
It's absolutely amazing... It's been about 5 years since I've played the NES and I have no idea how to SAVE my progress. Does the END work and if so how?

I had the same problem with LoZ. It took me going to the FAQs to learn how to SAVE in that game.

Anyway, going retro for a while. Even dug out Shadowgate. Bwah hah hah hah ...

Yes, I know... however, it also has the word END on the page. Let me do a www search and see if I can find out why.

Thanks for the reply... :)

I don't do April Fools. I'm serious if nothing. I did figure out the word END goes with the inserting of the passwords.

When you put these games away for a while and start playing them again, man do you lose dexterity and lore of the game. I used to go through this game like a knife through butter, and now I'm dying and using my "E" cells on each level. I have managed to get pass Centaur though. I even made it to Wind, but because I made it there with only 1 player and no "E" cells, I died rather quickly.

So I have to relearn this game.

There is no battery in Mega Man 6. You don't save your progress. There's only passwords.

Okay, there's no battery in the cart, so you don't SAVE that way. However, if you don't copy your Password for your next play, that progress is lost to you. Maybe not the game, but to you.

So there is a SAVE system in Megaman 6.

Password system =/= Save system. They are two separate, distinct things. There is a password system. There is no save system.

Why is this a point of contention? Exactly what does a SAVE SYSTEN do? Now tell me, what does a PASSWORD SYSTEM do?

Now tell me, what's the dif, they both allow you to restart your game with saved progress.
