Flame Man or Wind Man

I keep wondering which is the better choice to start the game.

With Flame Man, you get the Rush Power ASAP, opening up the chance of getting hidden goodies (plus the game-breaking Flame Blast). However, you're forced to fight a pretty tough battle, thanks to Flame Man's barrier fire weapon.

If you start with Wind Man, you get to fight an easier robot master, and get Flame Man's weakness. However, you don't have any Rush Upgrades, which means you're forced to skip several goodies, including a valuable E-Tank.

Which do you prefer? And which order do you find easier?

Start with Flame... As long as you have an E-Tank or two you can get through the boss battle.

Yeah, Flame is who I start with, then in order of which is weak the newest power I've received. That makes Wind last.

Flame Man. There is already an E-Tank earlier in the stage so you've got some back-up, so he shouldn't be ridiculously difficult.

Having Rush Power early is a wonderful thing. Edit: Also, Flame Blast is also great to have as soon as possible.

Flame Blast is awesome for taking down large enemies. The Ice Cube squid, the Gorilla in Plantman's stage, etc.
