Soul Dew in Battle Tower

I checked the sticky and didn't see this question there.

Anyways does it work because I used my Latios with it and the damage didn't seem any stronger.

soul dew doesn't work in the battle tower, its over powered.

Yeah, Lati@s can hold it but it's as good as holding nothing while you're there.

I'm almost positive Soul Dew can't be used in Colosseum or XD either. I never understood why Nintendo even bothered to make that item when Lati@s is already quite powerful without it.

for sure the soul dew doesn't work in the battle tower, (and battle hall and battle subway if you have emerald), but i'm not sure if the effect is still nulled in the gamecube games.
