Sevr (or is it Sabor now? Savor?) is still my favorite unit, he was a rape machine in Celica's quest.
I also like how this game had hidden passages all over, for the Magic Shield, for finding sage Norm too. Wish other FE games had a map like this.

Qulyf (Cliff) is my favorite choice of unit. He starts out as an underdog. But as you go on with him a little bit more, he turns into a monster. His growth rates are crazy. In Alm's quest, I always made him my mage as his spell list is the largest.
Passages, especially the concealed ones, are always delightful to have. After all, what is fantasy without secrets waiting to be discovered.
I have to say that this classical game holds a special place in my heart!

michaelsoftman (Topic Creator) Posted 9/24/2012 9:41:32 AM | Cliff is a good character, he has decent MDEF. I either made him a Merc or Mage. I made him a Knight once, it didn't turn out well for whatever reason.
I once leveled all 3 villagers and the nun at the very first shrine in chapter 1, till they were promoted. I proceeded to steamroll the entire chapter after. It was pretty funny.
Sadly, while the topic is long long gone, I had once found a Japanese wiki site that listed everything FE Gaiden related.
Item stats (weight, power bonus, def bonus, crit bonus, etc) and character growth rates and more. I had it all posted here before. It was interesting because I realized there were many weapons I had not even seen. One spear with a 50% crit rate, one with 28 power I think?
