That's easy. It's rare to the point of shock to find something that isn't related to dolphins, to the point where their unique attribute of not being related to dolphins will be noted by the world over, and, as such, make them related to dolphins.

Wait, I see what you mean now. Way too late for edits.

New answer:
If the object is only a hypothetical that's made for the sole sake of being something unrelated to dolphins, and it's about not being about dolphins, then its only purpose has everything to do with dolphins and it fails at its purpose by default. If it's unrelated because of other traits that it has because those traits don't have anything to do with dolphins, then it's still just a hypothetical, and the idea of the topic was to actually present those traits.

That was confusing. I feel like a limp mushroom.

If you're not looking at an ocean with dolphins in it that you're fiddling with subatomic particles within, how do you know whether the dolphins are alive or dead?

I know very little about the theory so I can't guarantee that I just made any sense.
