SpeedySwafPosted 6/30/2009 11:38:40 PM | Weird question, I know, but I've heard some conflicting stories on what the ending fully entailed. I initially thought it only lead to the death of the Demi-Fiend's world, but some MegaTen wikis say that every world is destroyed as a result.
Is the latter true? If so, where/when is it implied that every world would die? |
Prodat3Posted 7/2/2009 10:58:40 AM | as far as i know, the true demon ending implies the end of the circle of death and resurrection of the various worlds, don't remember anything about destroying the universe, but it's a while since i got TDE :S so i'm not 100% sure. --- "There can Be Only ONE!"-Connor McLeod in Highlander 1986 "There MIGHT Be Only One!"- Me about Highlander sequels 2008 |

Prodat3Posted 7/6/2009 12:06:22 PM | "They go to war with YHVH, and it's assumed that they win. Thus ending...everything." I've just replayed my last save, at the last save-point to see the TDE again and, i must say that it is not specifically told in the game that Hito and Lucifer with their army, succeeded in defeating God, that is just a baseless speculation, we just know they fight each other.Maybe Hito won, maybe he lost, we do not know, we only know that he destroyed Kagutsuchi thus ending the world resurrection circle. --- "There can Be Only ONE!"-Connor McLeod in Highlander 1986 "There MIGHT Be Only One!"- Me about Highlander sequels 2008 |
that one guyPosted 7/6/2009 1:06:02 PM | I was more talking about the article there assuming they win. Hell, I assume it too, because Hitoshura is so damn badass. --- RIP Ian Rotten, Judy Bagwell Rotten, Jim Fannin, Axl Rotten, and Balls Mahoney. You will not be forgotten. |
ArmedDragoonPosted 7/6/2009 11:59:35 PM | I don't see how every single world would be destroyed if the TDE occurred.
The only reason Hitoshura's world would be borked is because it's already destroyed. If the cycle was ended, it would effectively "freeze" the point in the cycle where the other worlds are at, because there would be no more Conceptions. Only worlds where the Conception had occurred recently would be done for good. --- "Big talkers are usually weak"- Dart, LOD; A god among men. DarkDante_swPosted 7/7/2009 5:16:10 AM | Ha, Aleph and co won when Aleph could only equip a sword and a gun and the heroine got all the power. And let's not forget Neutral ending where he didn't have any help from Lucifer or Satan. Seriously, if there was a battle, Hito could easily win. |
CogitoPosted 7/7/2009 1:09:44 PM | winning a battle and ending YHVH permanently are two different matters though =P --- Hito wa mikake ni yoranu mono |
TrenchcoatFlashPosted 7/7/2009 1:28:35 PM | I never read up on the game's ending. I just assumed that Lucifer hasn't gone to war yet, rather, is building the army and got a powerful new ally in TDE. --- Level 1 trolls killed (not including sockpuppets): 2 People butthurt cuz of me(not including sockpuppets): 5 |
DarkDante_swPosted 7/9/2009 8:59:40 PM | winning a battle and ending YHVH permanently are two different matters though Well, the almighty Lord Himself says in SMT2 that he will be recreated again and again as long as there are people that need Him to rely on. That means there's probably no way to kill the bastard forever. |
