SpeedySwafPosted 6/30/2009 11:38:40 PM | Weird question, I know, but I've heard some conflicting stories on what the ending fully entailed. I initially thought it only lead to the death of the Demi-Fiend's world, but some MegaTen wikis say that every world is destroyed as a result.
Is the latter true? If so, where/when is it implied that every world would die? |
Prodat3Posted 7/2/2009 10:58:40 AM | as far as i know, the true demon ending implies the end of the circle of death and resurrection of the various worlds, don't remember anything about destroying the universe, but it's a while since i got TDE :S so i'm not 100% sure.

I've just replayed my last save, at the last save-point to see the TDE again and, i must say that it is not specifically told in the game that Hito and Lucifer with their army,succeeded in defeating God, that is just a baseless speculation, we just know they fight each other.Maybe Hito won,maybe he lost, we do not know, we only know that he destroyed Kagutsuchi thus ending the world resurrection circle.

The only reason Hitoshura's world would be borked is because it's already destroyed. If the cycle was ended, it would effectively "freeze" the point in the cycle where the other worlds are at, because there would be no more Conceptions. Only worlds where the Conception had occurred recently would be done for good.

Well, the almighty Lord Himself says in SMT2 that he will be recreated again and again as long as there are people that need Him to rely on.
