PhoenixxWrongPosted 4/21/2012 11:04:51 PM | I am nearing the diet building. Does this game have a large jump in difficulty for the final boss like some of the other SMT games (Persona 1, P2: IS and SMT Strange Journey come to mind)? I can't say I had too much trouble with any of the bosses so far, besides Matador.
Looks like I may get the neutral ending if that changes anything. I am about level 58 now and on normal difficulty. |
ahoythere4Posted 4/22/2012 2:04:17 AM | When I played through on normal mode, the bosses just kind of stopped being hard after Pale Rider. So if you haven't been having any problems so far, I don't foresee any in your future. |
NakratosPosted 4/22/2012 5:17:56 AM | If you're past Amala Temple and still nothing surprised you, then I'm quite sure that nothing will. I'd suggest replaying on Hard Mode and going for TDE, but if you don't want to replay, then it'd be a good idea to do it now. The Final Boss is incredibly over hyped, you won't have to grind at all if you can fuse decent demons (and it looks like you can). |
PhoenixxWrong (Topic Creator) Posted 4/22/2012 10:48:56 AM | When am I locked out of getting the TDE? |
NakratosPosted 4/22/2012 11:47:23 AM (edited) | The second you enter the Final Dungeon. The game will ask you if you "really want to enter" and you'll certainly notice that it's the final dungeon.
You can complete the Diet Building, but don't go any further then. |
saint35Posted 4/24/2012 9:45:24 PM | TDE final boss is fairly difficult without the right skills and the battle will take an insanely long time. With the right skills, it's a joke. Meanwhile, the other endings final boss is pretty easy overall. It's not extremely easy in that it takes no strategy or anything though. The final boss still puts up a decent fight, but the boss fight is certainly no Matador or anything close to that. --- PSN ID: The_Last_Fencer just play it and form your own damn opinion - Lost7th |
