Hey guys, how long would it take for someone to grind to level 32...

Before even entering the Tunnel leading to Matador and eventually Ikebukuro?

Very, very, very long.
It takes some hours to reach level 20, getting to level 32 would take absurdly long.
If you grind in the Amala Network, it should still take around ten hours, I believe.

Id say its not the grind...Its switching your Magatama to absorb, null, or repell the right element and getting as many hits in as possible, plus spam Media every turn....

Naturally, the grinding is entirely unnecessary, but since he's made such a specific request I believe he has some plans of his own for getting to a level twice as high as the necessary. I don't know.

It's much better to fuse your pixie with an angel to get Megami Uzume who voids force attacks. You should have some buffs and debuffs by now which are incredibly helpful (all you really need is War Cry/Fog breath but having a few demons with Rakukaja and other kajas will really help) and the magatama that's force resistant equipped, it's more important to be strategic about bosses rather than grinding out levels like you might be used to in other RPGs.
If just the Uzume doesn't help you can fuse an Aquans elemental purchased from Rag's jewelry with a Yoma Isora found in the water in the underpass which will create a Snake Nozuchi, who drains force. He'll also evolve soon too. If you have both of these two demons AND the right magatama then Matador will be cake.

You don't really want to grind out the levels early on anyways - i'm end game right now and there are a lot of spells I want to learn but can't because of how long it takes to level up and get to the best moves for each magatama.

edit:
lol, whoops, read the post wrong xD

I'm not planning anything. My friend actually did this and I wanted to know how long it would take.

Naturally, I'm not letting him live this down.

When uberlevelled, you get 22 EXP per Isora (Base Lv 14).

Following EXP of base Lv demons,
Lv 20 require 4226 EXP, which is ~193 Isora (less if you get >22 EXP per isora).
Lv 25 require 6300 EXP, which is ~287 isora
Lv 30 require 8680 EXP, which is ~395 Isora.

Hours? What?
I got from lvl 13 to 18 in like 15 minutes.

You fight an average of 3-4 Isora per battle cause of frequent reinforcements. They aren't too tough and encounter rate is generally high.

"Before even entering the Tunnel leading to Matador".

That means no Isoras.
Still, I admit that I exaggerated.
