Heroes of the Mustache!

My fellow hero-admirers, I invite you to join me in chronicling the adventures of a new (yet perhaps strikingly familiar) group of HEROES. Who are these heroes, you may ask? Well, they are...

The Heroes of the Mustache
http://lamecomics.com/hotm/

Lead by Storm Darkmustache, this band of 8 mighty adventurers can be proven to contain a goodly -- nay -- AWESOMEly amount of mustache, and may, with your help, be eminently worthy of toasting with a brimming flagon of MJ!

Indeed, captured on the above-mentioned "Page of the Web" is an Interactive User-Writable Heroes of the Mustache Comic Program. It has not yet been brought to its final completed state of CROMWELLIGANCE -- it shall eventually include such familiar faces as the heinous shin-kicking gully dwarves (for what is HEROISM without HEINOUSNESS to triumph over?), and of course, plentiful bottles of MJ for all HEROES to quaff -- but it is at least beta-functional, and I feel it may be a mighty stone upon which we may build an expansive empire...

...an empire ruled by the HEROISM of MUSTACHE.

Huzzah!

Hail and well-met, friend! Feel free to utilize both its "Comments" (emotodragon) feature, as well as its "Write a Comic" feature and contribute yourself!

Part of my goal, in crafting new graphics influenced and up to the lofty bar set by Heroes of the Lance's stunning visuals, was to create a new virtual home for some measure of AWESOMENESS: on occasion it feels that the very fabric of the gameFAQs webiverse bends against HEROISM - witness how (for example) "Gauntlet II" is in the "top 10 NES boards" after I posted one message there yesterday afternoon, yet "Heroes of the Lance", upon receiving 3 by me yesterday and 4 by you this morning, is currently not placed!

But moreover there's plenty to be added to Heroes of the Mustache -- soon the shin-kicking gully dwarves shall crawl through that dungeon of Tak Xsaroth as prolifically as their presense in the Lance's multiverse...

and eventually, with more graphical work, Storm Darkmustache and his troupe of HEROES may take their adventures on the road beyond even the depths of Tak Xsaroth...

Perhaps even INTO SPELLJAMMING SPACE? Anything's possible!

Why would a gully dwarf or chasm dwarves attack a heavily-armed party of EIGHT awesome adventurers, one of whom has a HEROIC mustache?

Let's explore this phenomenon in a short playlette!

Perhaps if there were a wave of gully dwarves, say, 50,000 or so? That might make a moustache break a sweat.

The Heroes make progress! They're encountering more architecturally-fancy corridors in Tak Xsaroth, and a variety of undead goons in addition to the chasm dwarf HEINOUSNESS!

Also, their resident wizard, Scorpius Scrollreader learns a valuable lesson about the limits of magic

Who says barbarians have poor math skills? When it comes to counting how many things they've killed, they're first-rate!

...then again, it probably doesn't hurt when the numbers are low.
