From the Pikipedia, Valley of Repose

When looking at this level at certain angles, it is seen that it is a modified version of the Forest Navel from the first game. For example, the Fiery Bulblax is at the exact spot where one would battle Beady Long Legs in Pikmin 1.

January 9th's update will be Olimar (started 10/31/07) and I was right.

that's wrong, if you look at the maps, the shape shows that it's fake.

I opened this up for me and Dumple arguing over whether or not The valley was derived from The Navel.

I say yes, he says no

I've stated all I need to say, pretty much... Oh, and all of the elevation switches from the Forest Navel aren't in the Valley of Repose. The FN, around the landing site, is a complicated series of passageways and whatnot: None of that is in the Valley, which is a bunch of clear, open areas. The little island where the Libra is located is missing in the Valley, and the small pathway around it is gone as well. The elevation jumps around the Puffstool area are also gone, as are the triangular places near the #1 Ionium Jet.

Water_Dumple's words win. This is just another pointless waste of a topic. It's obvious that they are totally different areas, just ask someone who designed the game. I have an idea: Why don't we just close this topic and forget this ever happened? What do you say?
