Message Board Announcements

Today, we went down for several hours. Amazon Web Services (AWS) had some server issues that caused the Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to go down. We're currently hosted on EC2 along with other big name sites, so when it goes down, so does GameFAQs. We're finally back up and running though, and we deeply apologize for the delay. The move to AWS has been a great benefit to the site and this is really the first time since we fully moved the site to the cloud that we've had an issue such as this. The benefits of being on AWS far outweigh the negatives though, and we don't imagine that we'll have another downtime like this for quite some time.
