So... Someone took a post by lol_what and responded? Do people not understand how trolling works anymore? We started ignoring him on the umvc3 boards long ago.

That said, I don't dislike cheria. I just think she was written poorly. For being so obsessed with asbel, she loves hiding it... And gets mad when asbel still doesn't notice. She'd have been FAR more interesting if she was way more open about it, but asbel just wasn't focused on love at the moment.

Indeed. The way that pairing was handled made me appreciate Marta a little more. Whatever you wanna say about that character, I at least like how proactive she was about her feelings for Emil.

If this was the route the Graces writers wanted to take, then they should've at least have Cheria finally work up the nerve to tell him her feelings later in the game, but then troll her by having someone or something keep her from sealing the deal. I mean, that scenario is pretty cliche in it's own way, but at least then it wouldn't be as annoying and frustrating as seeing her refuse to say anything throughout the game.

this is a girly anime game and when it comes to people that like girly anime games, I've noticed a couple common trends

- The men will prefer boring unattractive dolls like sophie because their failures with actual women is why they play these games in the first place

- The women will hate any and all attractive females because they get in the way of shipping themselves/other men with the protagonist and because it reminds them of how alone and fugly they are.

I think the same haha

but I think its got a bit more with how the cast is,

We got Sophie who is like a serious child who knows nothing and is just discovering the world, seeing her change makes it interesting to some (i find it boring but I still like her)

We got Pascal who is just weird at everything she does (makes her interesting for most people, for me as well)

And then we got Cheria, who is like the normal grown up girl, who is level headed and seems to just want to settle down and have a family (this is the most normal person of the group, also one thats always worried with normal habits of living and safety protocols, so she seems like the most nagging, boring person, I like her as well and is actually my favorite girl)

I don't really much of a problem with her. She seems the most normal of the cast outside of Malik. She is far from my favorite Tales characters, but I still kind of like her though. Girls like Cheria are more of the type of girl I would probably date and possibly marry.
