Where do YOU level grind in every Tales game?

#1Arceus1234Posted 6/27/2012 2:14:59 PM
At end game preparing for extra bosses and stuff. (With or Without exp multipliers)

Symphonia- N/A, I've never maxed leveled in that game because it's already easy enough. (Bonus bosses should not be a Joke at level 51 when I had the default titles equipped the whole playthrough)

Abyss- Bonus Dungeon, I ran back and forth between those healing rooms and fought the monsters.

Vesperia 360- Ran through the Labyrinth of Memories over and over (Because of the fake gald I was at level 200 by the time I even got to fight Kratos.

Vesperia PS3- The Merciless Team Arena, on easy I can get through that with Rita in less than 5 minutes, and I get over 1.5 million Exp for that.

Graces- Zhonecage level 9, the enemies on that floor gives ridiculous EXP

Xillia- Bonus Dungeon, the Exp gain wasn't as great as other game, but the level cap in Xillia is lower so it makes sense.

I don't.
In fact, when I hit the last dungeon (main arc) in this game, I pulled out the holy bottles and skipped every fight.

By the them I get to the last dungeon, I just want to see the ending.

I don't bother with those.
I don't think I did any sidequests at all.

Phantasia: Moria mines or just pay a creature in Dhaos Castle (because I dont use money for anything else)
Destiny (PSX):...............pfff LoL
Eternia: -_- Never bothered
Legendia: see Destiny
Symphonia: Nebilim Book
Symphonia 2: Just playing it XP
Abyss: Bonus Dungeon
Vesperia: Telescopic Graveyard
Graces: Zhonecage floor 9

Destiny 2/Rebirth/Innocence/Hearts: Haven't fought the extra bosses yet so no grinding for me.

I don't really grind much in Tales At least not for levels.

I typically grind for stuff like skills in Vesperia, titles in Graces, and money. That gives me some levelling, and I usually just make do with that and make it through the extra bosses on whatever level I'm already at.

Of course, I only ever play on Hard, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. If I ever wanted to do Unknown (or equivelent difficulties called other things but same difference) I'm sure I'd need to grind a lot more, which is part of the reason I don't do Unknown. The other part being I just don't care for rediculous difficulty to begin with.

i rarely grind unless i feel that it is needed for a specific area/enemy

when i do it's typically in the final dungeon/bonus dungeon of that game

a few specific cases

Symphonia - that book dungeon because it was fun and a great way to level for fighting Abyssion

Abyss - final dungeon, i never actually ever got into the bonus dungeon in that game (how do you do that?) i did this grinding for fighting nephilim (great boss)

Graces f - Ghardia Shaft, because honestly the normal enemies are kicking my butt in there

Fodra's core coz those golems gives good amount of exp on Chaos and money along with eqs to sell when done farming . I only do that for like 10mins coz i find it boring compared to floor 9 . I'll prolly do that since they spawn pretty fast compared to the golems in the Fodra's core .

first decent grinding spot was the castle. best place to grind in vesperia was in the area with the gentleman golems. you could fight them far faster than the ex dungeon enemies plus you can link encounters. money the only good way is the same as abyss via the casino.

symphonia i would say final dungeon for exp and the gold dragon in the earth temple for money.

exp wise in abyss a draw between mushroom forest, the thunder island, ketterberg and the final dungeon. and with the world map glitch 3 are possible at the start of the game.

legendia first decent spot was the first dungeon since it had the healing spot. after that the crags and then wings of light.

destiny air ship since it has a healing spot.
