How do I enter search mode in the Shuttle?

I am still lost on that. I am at Ghardia Shaft. Read a faq said to go in search mode for alluring temptress title but didn't know how to do that. Thanks.

Use the Right Analog Stick.

Navigate around the map with the stick and press L1 to actually "search".

Can only be done when you're in shuttle mode (able to pick a place to travel to), so only from towns or outdoor areas, not dungeons and the like.

^Oh I was in the ghardia shaft when i tried I think. I will test later when I get the chance.
