How is the Online?

How is the online like on this game? Can you download other peoples cars they customize or not? Like the Bumble Bee Camaro?

Don't bother with this game online feature that force use to use online pass on a free console.

Online pass is not required on this game. On BF3 yes, but not Shift 1/2

It still doesn't let me play online at all on a free console.Still a terrible game.

However, online is pretty dead, so there's no need to bother getting it brand new or buying an online pass for this game.
Career & quick races are enough to make the game worth playing imo.
You cannot download other people's cars.

I bought my copy USED at gamestop. I didn't redeem any code. Take my word for it.

I guess the difference here is that you have the regular edition while I have the limited edition. My game came with an online pass and I wasn't able to play online until I entered the code at the PS store, it also unlocked some exclusive cars & career events.

Let me make it clearer then. I purchased used, GameStop, 35.99 USD. There was no online pass inside.

So; I went online, it worked. I would know because I picked it up a month after launch and was on this board a lot when it was still active with the regulars. THEY said the same thing as well.

already said it in my first post- BF3 requires it, this doesn't. Do you have the game yet??
