I'm playing a trickster rogue and now as I am getting to some higher level areas (level 45 at the moment) my cleric is basically non existent because she just dies instantly in any fight. Is this simply because the starter companions can't level beyond level 15 yet? I read somewhere, I think it was the wiki, that a level 30 companion is almost equivalent to a level 60 player. So is my level 15 cleric pretty much like a level 30 player and that is why she dies so damn quick in any fight in higher level areas?
Is my only real choice to buy myself a higher rarity companion so I can have a higher level one? Since they don't have those items in the game yet to increase the rarity of companions? --- http://i.imgur.com/uNhRK.gif http://i.imgur.com/79fyyM6.gif
I'm wondering too. I saw there were upgrade books for sale in the companion place but they're listed as "coming soon". I also think they'll probably be an ass-load of diamonds so I'm saving up. How often to you get better companions? It's a cool system but is currently obsolete very quickly. --- "An account created 7 years ago is my alt"-Warhammeronl speaking about DarkSoulPriest
Having the same problem. I play TR (currently lvl 38) and My cleric is at 15 and I also have a tank companion. My cleric dies easily and the tank companion is basically only helps when I'm fighting 1 on 1. If its a group of mobs he is useless, as he can't seem to aoe taunt.
So.......Not even sure which companion is worth investing in in terms of zen\astral diamonds.
Guess that answers my question on which companion to get,
Tank is useless Healer agros and dies to quick.. useless Not sure about the mage but at least the dog will bite something.
I heard the rock tank Galeb Duhr is the best companion but he cost 3000 zen
He's amazing. I have him on my cleric. Also, my cleric is 30 and i have no trouble staying alive. --- This is the prowess of CE. Romantic masters, clearly: http://i.imgur.com/XgMJl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/njX88.jpg
