Is the first time you kill a boss given a higher percentage of rare items, and repeated farming has a lower percentage?

I haven't noticed a difference in drop quality. Usually, with 0 increased rarity on my character, I get around 2 rares and a bunch of magics.
Not.

i think you get better loot the 1st time you kill a boss. sometimes you only get blues if you kill them again. then again i could be wrong

I've only killed the first boss twice but I got a the same stuff both times.

drops are random, even if you kill bosses it will not drop always, for example I killed a random unique boss first time and I only get gray drops, then I re run the place and the same unique boss was there killed him and dropped 3 rares 2 magics and a orb, same with chests and other mobs.

random is random only way to change it is stacking higher quality drops gear and more drops gear too

That's why i was asking, since d3 employed that system. So, with your experience, you don't think they do this?

I've found better friends in piles of excrement. Aren't you thankful?

D2 does that, Borderlands does it, Dungeon Siege does it etc. Are there any loot based games that don't do that?

I farmed Oak in Act 2 quite a few times. Not sure if he's considered a boss or not but a bunch of items drop whenever I kill him. He spawns right next to a waypoint so you can kill him like twice a minute.
