I have to disagree, loot sucks imo. In BL1 I was finding new guns that I wanted to use all the time, not so in BL2. It really feels like there is only a handful of different guns and most suck. They did just about 0 optimization of the game engine. The difficulty of the game isn't a good difficult it is cheap difficult. And WOW did I just spend $60 on a game that is so bug ridden it makes termite colonies jealous? From badass token glitches, to raid bosses not dropping loot or crashing your game system when they do, to items falling through the floor or often landing in giant pools of lava so you can't pick them up, to items disappearing, to getting hung up on objects in the environment all the time -- even flat surface vertical walls?! I had to wonder if the game was play-tested at all. Not at all what I was hoping for, it ended up being BL1 with crappier loot, more bugs, and bigger areas.
Edit: And also BL1 had natural character to it, BL2 tries to force it down your throat like "I SAID BALLS, FUNNY RIGHT?, LAUGH NOW!"
