No. My theory is that this guy is the villain of the story you are playing as and the real Dante is going to be the final boss.

That's a bad theory. Seeing as how this is in most likel a reboot. It makes no sense to have the other Dante in it. It was like putting Dante in DMC4, he really had no place there.
