DmC: Devil May Cry

DmC is the story of a young man wanting revenge against the forces of evil. with the line constantly being blurred the difference between both sides are less and less everyday.

The game starts with Dante getting captured by the police after attacking and burning 3 men in a small alley. he was sent to a mental hospital to try and rehabilitate him as part of the "Young rehabilitation" Program after hearing him mumble about demons and flying cats. the man over the mic asks "what is your name", Dante remains silent and you're thrown into the first chapter of the game which acts as a tutorial, after finishing the chapter another cutscene of the mental hospital is shown where the man asks Dante again what is his name. chapter 2 starts.

Skipping forward at Chapter 8 the final chapter reached after 5 hours of playtime killing the same enemies over and over again, after defeating the last boss (which oddly was more robot than demon) the game goes back to the mental hospital and Dante was asked by the man one last time "what is your name?" Dante answers "My name is Dante".

The man then asks "What did you do that got you here?" Dante "I attacked 3 demons." the man says "and for what reason is that?" Dante answers "They wouldn't give me my power back."

"Power... you mean drugs, Dante all this time you've been mumbling about 'demons' telling us stories about how you overcame the demon lord...all of it did not happen. otherwise the city would have been in ruins now." the man steps out of the room and opens a door into Dante's room, unchaining Dante and leading him by hand to a window. "see? our city is unharmed. if demons attacked our city and we really arrested you fighting demons and trying to save the world don't you find it odd that our city was quite? you weren't fighting a giant demon Dante... you were fighting the drug out of your body, you have been having hallucinations all this time because of the drugs."

Dante stands speechless and falls into silence, a man in a red coat grabs Dante and throws both of them off the building, Dante's brain is splattered on the ground."

The man in the red coat says "NOW can i have my name back? i broke most of his hands when i grabbed him and he didn't survive the fall. HEY IM TALKING TO YOU! STOP READING TWILIGHT GOD DAMN IT!"


MEANWHILE in Ninja Theory's office:
Man 1: hold on i think we spoiled the story in the trailer....
Man 2: Seriously?
Man 1: Yes. we forgot to make the city in ruins.
Man 2: .......
Tameem Antoniades : it's fine, let's change the ending and have Dante turn into a vampire and then escaping the facility leaving the story at a cliff-hanger. we will continue it in the film which i will be Dante, we well release DmC2 along side it. western fans will be in for a treat as i plan on doing a great twist!
Man 1: Dante will fall in love with a woman who is also a vampire and on drugs?
Tameem Antoniades: dammit.

and then we get the real DMC5 after 2 months
