Maybe because it costs too much money to make a DMC game in-house (don't quote me on that) and Capcom saw the positives in Ninja Theory? Maybe because Capcom Japan approved of the current Dante design and intend to work with it. Maybe because Ninja Theory isn't that bad of a developer and the people who hate are just nit picking? Maybe because Capcom is bad at telling a story and decided to pick another company to do it. Maybe because Capcom didn't know that the entire freakin fanbase would rage this hard.
Maybe it's some of those reasons.

I don't know. I really don't have an idea of what I think about this game. As a huge DMC fan I am not happy with it and if I saw it under another title I probably wouldn't give it a second thought. I WANT it to be good. It will have to deliver and deliver HARD for me to get on board. I am not a hater...just a very, very confused fan that does not understand the move.
A trailer should be to excite and entice us and I am just left scratching my head wondering what just happened and why. I see no reason for it really.
