In the words of Hank Hill:

If we don't by this game, one of two things my happen: either Capcom cans DMC forever and we only see Dante in tiny ass cameos or they can NT and give us a better DMC. It could go either way.

I'd rather have Capcom can DMC forever than have it continue like this.

Sadly, I'm with you on that. I'd rather it die good than become crap, and possibly die as crap.
