Despite success on consoles the Devil May Cry games never really sell well on PC. Nor does any other Capcom release on PC has. Blame piracy, blame like of marketing for the PC release, whatever.
But at this point it's only been announced for PC. And considering Ninja Theory has never released a PC game, I don't think they will start now. I guess their concern is making the best game they can for consoles. DMC's primary market. --- LHK |
lowhighkangPosted 12/31/2010 7:10:20 PM | Sure.
But considering Capcom has gone on record saying DMC4, Street Fighter 4, and DMC3 have underperformed on PC. And the fact that as of now, only the ps3 and 360 versions are confirmed and that Ninja Theory themselves have never released a PC game...2+2 is 4 and 5 x 5 is 25 bro. It's all math, add it up.
I think a PC version would be great, why not? I understand the PC version of DMC4 is all kinds of DMC3-awesome, but sales are sales. It costs money to port something on PC and it wouldn't be financially feasible to do so, considering the sales history of the franchise on PC before it. History tells all. --- LHK |
