GlhrmPosted 8/19/2011 9:52:14 AM | But I really hope it doesn't sell. Ninja Theory had a good thing with Heavenly Sword. Sold over a million, and the price hasn't even been lowered yet. If they had dropped the price, I'm sure they would have seen more sales. Game of the Year edition, Greatest Hits, what-have-you. But no, they decided to bash the HS fans, say the game didn't sell for crap, and go multiplatform, touting the 360 base and essentially saying screw Sony. Your games don't sell, your users don't buy, etc. Out comes Enslaved. U3 engine mess. I don't mind U3, done well, but Enslaved was not done well. A lot of handholding, a lot of comparing it to Uncharted (according to NT), a lot of hype. As of right now, I believe it sold just around 600k units over TWO platforms. Not even breaking a million. Not even close. Now, it's this. This affront to fans of the series. This mess. This even bigger slap in the face over NT's career. They could've been great. Could've had a huge following. Fans clamoring for the next NT game. Now, I really hope it doesn't do well. I think they need to learn to respect the fans and learn to respect the product, the story, the industry. It's hubris, and I'm tired of it. |
