DmC: Devil May Cry

I agree.

Razor's Edge is actually pretty good from what I've played of it. I'm enjoying it a Hell of a lot more than my time in the DmC demo.

All this "I want to save little girl" made me want to crawl under the carpet-

Better than Devil May Cry 2 is the goal I'm hoping it'll achieve.

I'd say the demo alone does this from a gameplay perspective

Agreed. But then you can blame that on raw technology. They hadn't hit anything truly amazing until 3, if you ask me. So being better in simple gameplay wouldn't necessarily be saying much.
