pyro_bunta posted... The only strategic things from GOW is boss attack patterns and puzzles. And enemies. There are enemies which requires you to change to specific arsenal to defeat them. Others need to be "stunned" in a specific way to prompt QTE kills or to damage them etc. --- "I'll make my own FFVIII CGI movie, with blackjack and hookers!"
Also enemies in GOW are a lot more tenacious and ferocious than DMC enemies --- How do you say "I need more power" in dinosaur? RAAAAAWR!!!

You can't even get by in easy just doing square, square and triangle. I'll admit that the combat in DMC is more complicated but "the DmC demo already had loads of more depth than the entire GOW series." You just proved you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Kratos has multiple weapons, each with several combos, magic attacks and grabs that work differently depending on what buttons you push and what enemies you're using it on but okay Donte with his sword, two pistols that fire like submachine guns and the whip to pull things is more deep. The full game maybe but the demo, nah. --- 2012's Undisputed Badass: Scizor

I mean it's challenging at times, but it's nothing like DMC. I'm sure this DmC will be harder than GoW, I get you like to troll this game because you hate the new game and all, but GoW isn't a hard game. Yes you obviously have to dodge and do some other things to fight people, but essentially it's all the same and the game gets really repetitive because of that. So you can sit there and say I didn't play it or that I'm a noob or whatever, still doesn't take away from the fact that GoW can't compare to DMC games or even this demo for that matter. I will say GoW3 is still the best looking game I've ever seen tough and it is fun. The boss design is definitely some of the best I've ever seen in a game. --- Child: Can you tell me another story about the Shepard? Stargazer: Did you buy the DLC? DmC isn't hard, I alone have proved that. Also GOW requires you to constantly stay on your toes in the harder difficulties, you would know that if you had actually played them. Which is why I know despite your words, that you haven't --- How do you say "I need more power" in dinosaur? RAAAAAWR!!!
@stink nasty As much as ridiculous as this sound, the best boss design is where they render all you learn in the game completely obselete, almost making it to difficult to handle Example Omega weapon FF8 Bayonetta rodin Gwyn of dark souls God of war is basically hit them as much, and chip them off or hold them off until QTE appear, then boom They have the best representation though, i have to agree But what is good about something given to you? Its not something you truly achieve
GOW to their credit has gone past 30fps on their engine (45fps I think was the highest it hits). Yes they have evident slowdown or QTE to make up for certain points where the frames may slow down, which really just makes the pace of the game more of a drag, but not every game can go 60fps. And for those that go below that, GOW has shown good polish and presentation. As oppose to DmC which is a bad mash of mechanics and controls under the guise of making it 'feel' like an old DMC game with making it feel like 60fps. --- ~Thank you for your irrelevant opinion~
DmC combat is better, but less fun. Kratos is a simple man who plays like a simple man. He's fun despite this.
Oh Kratos has multiple weapons that all play exactly the same! Hey remember those neat triple chain things you get from Hephaestus? They play just like the blade of chaos, except you can hold buttons so they electrocute people! So different and compelling! The Cestus was pretty good, the other weapons all played the same. I have played on the harder difficulties man, you make it sound like tilting the right stick in a direction before you get hit is something hard when it isn't. I can dodge perfectly fine, the enemies deal more damage, but it's no DMD. There are no new move sets that enemies do, they just throw more of them at you and throw less grunts. What mystifying strategy are you talking about? The art of hitting without getting hit? Please enlighten me on how in the harder difficulties, this game automatically becomes like DMC and totally changes everything. Do you have some secret uber difficulty? I haven't played on the hardest one, what is it after hard? God mode? I get tired of them. My point is it's not as hard as DMC, Bayo, or even NG. No I do not consider NG3 part of NG. You're making it out to seem like I hate the game or something and I don't, but I just know it's not a "super combo oriented" kind of game. It's good at what it does. --- Child: Can you tell me another story about the Shepard? Stargazer: Did you buy the DLC? Child: No......Stargazer: Then go to bed. -readyforwar
