Look, you will not get the Western oriented fans and certainly not the Call of Duty fanbase when you ask a western developer to make the game more "suitable" for the west.

People who loved and bought DMC WERE fans of the JAPANESE VERSION.

Now they made true fans angry and "casual/Western" fans don't care about this product at all. Let me ask this way, GTA5 or DmC for a casual ,western fan?

It's like when they asked to make Bionic Commando 2009...

Shadows of the Damned is an awesome game.

Capcom think that just because Dead Rising 2 turned out well, every outsourced game will. They are wrong and should be punished for it.

Capcom logic that is failing sadly. They try think that they can approach their franchise with the same way Activision/EA does and rake in the dough. They forgot that they have to win CoD's audience first.

Which is pretty hard to do considering that every CoD game actually costs £80 if you want to play it for more than a month or so thanks to all the map packs.

Because Capcom is under the delusion that Japanese games do not appeal to the western market. To me, I like it best when western developers are making western influenced games, and when Japanese developers are making Japanese influenced games.

Nowadays, Japanese developers are insecure about their abilities and feel the need to cater to a specific type of people, and western developers feel they're superior to Japanese developers because Japanese companies like Capcom are seeking them for help with their franchises. I really miss the old days when developers made games that they really wanted to make. Only a handful of developers nowadays do that.

True. The only Japanese developers that actually release games nowadays tend to be very conservative and release almost exactly the same game over and over again (Idea Factory and the like) or they spend so long on a game that it never seems to actually come out (Square Enix and post Persona 4 Atlus).

Stalled due to the failure of XIV, and unwarranted sequels for XIII. And KHIII is also Nomura's baby, so won't be done until Versus is

So, we'll probably never see KH3 then?
