DMC2 was broken. It's that simple, and that bad.

DmC is just a medicore to bad H&S with a backed by a plethora of bad design and technological choices that also made the mistake of being a sequel to a highly-acclaimed franchise.

even though the demo isnt great imo it's going to be better than 2. that's not saying much though.

I'd have to admit DmC looks to have more care put into it.

I really doubt this game could end up has bad has DMC2 design wise if it does shame shame on Ninja Theory..

How was it broken?

Only thing I can think of is the guns were more powerful then they should have been but I wouldn't call that broken.

Forgive the name.

I'm not so far in denial that I'll say it's worse then DMC2. So far, the order for me in terms of goodness is:

DMC3>DMC4>>DMC>>>DmC>>>DMC2

It would be a feat to be worse than dmc2.
I literally dozed off to sleep several times in dmc2. Its a chore to play and the weapons arent diversed as the rest of the dmc games.

DmC should aim to be better than dmc1 at least. Dmc1 sets the line.

I have to disagree. When a new game in a series is made, it should aim to be better than all previous entries. That's one of my main reasons for disliking this game, it doesn't reach the standard imo. The fifth game in the series didn't reach it'a own standard >_>
